Albrights offers free shipping. I think Brytech does as well.
Yeah. I ordered from Albrights and got free shipping over 150. But they don't sell this stuff.
This one - I'm just puzzled. I mean this plastic thing can be rolled and shipped in bubble envelope. It can be shipped in flat rate box.
I think it's just poor business management and it looks like they don't deal with small guys/orders. But at least I would expect "ballpark" or something. For $40 I can order same stuff from multiple places online (they have $25 min order) and get more stuff.

Yeah I personally haven't ordered from them so I'm not sure what they are like to do business with. Have you called them on the phone? I would hope that they would be helpful over the phone. Who knows you may have just gotten some new person that placed you order and didn't know any better.

@IvanD i went back and looked at a smaller order shipment from them and I agree. Shipping rates are terrible with them. I do order from Albright for most of my supplies and very rarely from veterans. My second go to is pyramid trim in St. Paul, MN. They aren’t the $10 or free shipping of Albright, but they aren’t the second mortgage of veterans. I did contact them and got this card in the mail. I think unless no other options I won’t be using veterans anymore.

You are right about how hard it is to find the plastic clip materials, some places refer to them as J-clips. After a lot of searching I found that a lot of the websites you come across are for the manufacturers of the products, such as Trim-Lok but they only sell in bulk to the trade and its very hard to find somewhere that will just sell you a couple of metres. I live in the UK and found a few places in the US but the shipping costs were prohibitive considering the clips themselves only cost around $5. If anyone else in the UK needs some they can be found at
www.segalmotortrimmings.net but they have a minimum delivery charge of something like £30 so its best to combine your order with other stuff that you may need.

I have ordered a few things from them and every time the shipping is outrageous. I’m not going through them anymore unless I have to. I use to just rotate vendors to try and keep a relationship going everywhere. But not these guys anymore

@ajnegus Thanks for the recommendation! I only know US suppliers and this will help a lot of the UK members.
