hi first time posting here! hoping for some advice.
i have a swivel rocking upholstered chair. however it's just too tall! the seat height is unusually high. i would love for it to be 2" less.
so here are my ideas. i can make a custom cushion. (the current cushion is quite firm, includes an inner spring, and is about 4-5" high. )
but i have no idea what type of foam to order, can i incorporate an inner spring?
can i just cut up the current cushion and add some soft foam on top?
i'm afraid the cushion will get too thin and i would be able to feel the cheap springs of the chair. any advice? suggestions
