Howdy, all! First time in the forum, and first time attempting to reupholster a piece. I’ve been woodworking for decades, but this piece was too cool to pass up. I’m wondering if it’s worth saving the fabric and if I should replace the springs. I’m sure I’ll have to put some jute on the bottom and attach the springs to it, but I just wanted some thoughts on if it’s worth it/possible. Thanks!

Pretty neat old chair. I think if it were mine, I would have to save it. I would use new fabric on it.
