Top thread tension trouble

Hello everyone, I’m having a hard time my top tension on my omega walking foot zig-zag machine
The connection between the presser foot and the tension disc is not made, as in when you normally raise the foot it relieves the tension, but when I raise it the connection piece from the foot and the tension discs is not moving and appears free, not sure what to do or troubleshoot it?
Any ideas would be appreciated
Thank you in advance
Frederic

I don't know your machine, but all mechanical machines have a pin that pushes against the center of the disk assembly to open the disks, also check that the entire assembly has not "walked out" of the machine body.

The pin is in place and the assembly hasn’t moved, the “lever” that moves the pin seems to be not connected to anything???
Usually I am good at fixing my machine, but I can’t see anything, too many parts in the way

@Frederic Time to take it to an Industrial Sewing Machine repair technician.

Managed to adjust it, but found another problem (also fixed) The shuttle race door’s top flap(?) was damaged, so the burrs were snagging the thread, which didn’t help.
I took it apart, took the flap off (2 screws) flattened the flap and filed the edges smooth with my dremel, reinstalled everything and all is good, will order another shuttle race door, but will try to get flaps made since my supplier does not sell only the flap.
My machine is the same as the sailrite lsz-1 for reference

@Frederic , thanks for the reference to Sailrite. It really helped me vision your machine. I was picturing a domestic machine. You have a keeper. Remember to oil it with sewing machine oil as per instructions to keep it sewing like butter.
