I'm planning to take on reupholstering this chaise lounge (pic attached).
I am trying to figure out what kind of suspension I should use when reupholstering it and would appreciate some sanity checks.

- Sinuous springs don't seem like a great idea since they'd have to run across (left to right) the chaise and this may result in just one or two springs near the butt taking the weight when someone sits on the chaise. But maybe tying the springs together would make this work OK?
- Elastic webbing could follow the curve. I suspect that I can't do deep button tufting while tying off the button threads behind elastic webbing since the webbing would move, but maybe I could run another length of twine behind the webbing to tie the buttons off? I've also read that elasticated webbing doesn't last long, but I don't know if there's some more durable products around these days.
- Non-elastic webbing seems it would be too stiff with just foam and batting on top.
- Spring suspension would be the most expensive and time consuming option, so I'd like to avoid it if there's another reasonable approach. It seems more complicated than a regular spring suspension situation since there doesn't seem to be much point in having springs at the bottom or top and I'd need some other approach there to support the foam.
