I am stuck on the tension strings. I have them wrapped onto the front bow rail and the rail riveted in place on the bow, the strings threaded back to the back bow. I know the strings should rivet to the back bow, but I don't know exactly how. On the outer two strings I have about 6" extra length, on the inner three about 1-1/2" extra. I'm afraid that if I don't properly sort that extra length and precisely how and where to attach the strings, I'll finish with either a sagging headliner or ripped seams. Can anyone offer any guidance? Thank you very much!

I have never done one of these headliners. Can you post some pictures of the problem. Ill do my best to help.
