Hi @Torrie,
We discussed this topic here and maybe you can shed some light on this.
Many seats coming in for repair may be under some heavy use and require a vinyl that can withstand the constant in and out of the driver. In consideration is the dirty/wet driver either construction, welding, agricultural etc... What do you have in your line up that passes the industrial test?

@BigRig, I would've normally recommended Arctic 40oz vinyl from Spradling, but it's been discontinued and thus, hard to come by. I would just pick a good, heavier weight vinyl with a high abrasion resistance. The
Zander,
Beluga, and
Marlin from Spradling's Softside Marine collection all have 100,000 double rubs, plus mildew and stain resistance.
Naugahyde is also a good choice. The
All American pattern is less than $1 more per yard than the Zander / Beluga / Marlin, and it's got 250,000 doubles abrasion resistance and a lot more protective specs.
Sorry for the delay in responding!

Thank you Torrie.
I am currently doing some seats up with All American you sent me and actually really like this vinyl a lot. So I am thinking it would really not be necessary to step up to the Spirit Millenium or even Spirit Supreme.

@BigRig
I look like to make suggestion from experience in driving a truck for long hours, vinyl inserts are very HOT and make your backside sweat so you might want to consider a cloth material for your plates. Just a suggestion, ask the owner his or her preference but for me cloth or velour is the way to go.

Exactly what my dad said too! Now the question would be what fabric goes with the Vinyl for this?

Dang @BigRig I don't see how you make heads or tails out of my replies, I leave words out. Put words in that don't belong and double write stuff. I guess listen to what I'm trying to say and not what I write. Lol

@BigRig Here's the
Transporters Collection. Most of it has 100,000 double rubs abrasion resistance, like the vinyl. Should hold up well. Except the Grille Tex, that's speaker cloth.
