Hi Forum Folks,
I'm trying to find replacement hinges for an old overstuffed opening ottoman. I think its from the 1930s. They were built into the frame of the footstool and are totally invisible when the lids closed.
Has anyone ever come across hinges like this or know of a good substitute?
Thank you
-Pete

Oh man, I think you may have a challenge on your hands. Those are cool looking. They just not working properly? I would think any piano type hinge would work as a substitute, may have to make a recess for the area the hinge pin goes. To keep it hidden.

Thanks for the response.
Do you have a photo of what a "piano type hinge" looks like?
