Boat cover

just stitched up my first cover, well most of it. I have the outside edge/perimeter to stitch up. Sure was a battle getting it through the 12" opening in the machine, a long are and bigger table would have been nice. I used the Tenara on the exposed thread for the top stitch and the french stitch. I think basting tape would have been nice to have as well, just to keep the slippery material together. All in all, it came out good and will do it's job.

I like basting tape when it works but sometimes with the slicker materials I find it easier to mark a line to fold to and don’t bother with the tape. I’ve been thinking of getting a spool of Tenera to see how my machine likes it.

Basting tape didn't work very well, learning curve for sure. it looks great in a video, kind of like the Magic Egg Peeler, but not so good in real life.
