Backstitching in your seam.

I have tried my best to stitch an entire seam but I am at a complicated bunch of cuts around my headrest. I have stopped and my needle is DOWN holding the fabric. I really want to backstitch, lift the needle, unfold the cover and see how it is looking but am kinda fearful of doing this and putting a backstitch in this mess of cuts. It is tight and somewhat confusing. I am trying the best I can to sew as it came apart but this is only a one shot deal here and it has been a lot of work getting to this point.

You can always to some test headrest covers on scrap vinyl until you get the hang of it. Head rest have some tight turns make sure to give your self enough relief cuts.

Exactly why I posted the question John. I knew the answer would come to me. I am going to give some relief cuts and it will turn out fantastic. It is so funny how everything can look like such a mess on the backside of your fabric.
