For anyone that might be interested, my daughter was looking for ways to make a little side money to help pay her student loans so I told her she could organize and sell our “leftovers”. You know, that area you have with a thousand 2 and 3 yards rolls Well, she went all out and added a store to our website. We are not resellers or wholesalers, never want to be so the items on the site are as-is/what they are. I thought maybe a few of you may want some good material at cheap prices for practice or a little project you may have. Most of the auto cloth matches Detroit numbers but she didn’t look all them up. She’s tried to describe them to the best of her ability but if you see something and have a question, just email me at jj@zbinteriors.com.

Rhonda, unfortunately that’s just half of the leftovers from the past three’ish years. There’s still probably over hundred rolls stashed under my tables that “I think I’ll use one day”, lol!!

That’s a great idea. It’s nice to see someone finding a useful way to put those leftover pieces to work instead of letting them sit around collecting dust. A lot of hobbyists and people doing small projects don’t need a full roll of material, so having access to smaller pieces can be really helpful.

Also, good for your daughter for taking the initiative and putting the store together. It’s a great way to learn some business skills while helping out at the same time.

I only got a "page not found" notice when I clicked on the link. I also copied and and pasted the link in and got the same thing. Must be on my end as I noticed by the postings others have been able to access the store. I only use small quantities so it would have been nice to shop the store.

That’s actually a pretty clever way to put all those leftover rolls to good use instead of letting them sit around forever. I can imagine how much work it must have been to sort everything, describe the materials, and get the store set up. Having affordable fabric available for practice pieces or smaller projects could be really useful too. I’d definitely be curious to browse through what they have, especially if there are some hard-to-find materials in the mix. spinmama might be worth checking out while looking through the different options.
