Why isn't everything listed under the Main Screen Topics

Maybe it has always been this way but I have noticed that some listings are only at the bottom of the main Topics screen, at least for a few days, and not included on the main screen according to the dates they were posted.
Is this something new. It a bit of a pain to have to also go to the bottom of the main topics screen to see if there is a item there not included in the normal posting area.
Just my two cents worth.
Opinions of other please.

Not sure if this is related but I noticed some of my other forums have been acting very strangely as well. Seems after the AT&T shutdown things went goofy.

I really don't understand the set up of the subject display listings. Right now the subject of Alignment Problems appears in the green boxes at the bottom of the postings but not in the individual listings. This means that you have to go to the bottom of the screen to see if there is anything new, not just view the postings.
Why not have everything included in the listings, not have something in the green boxes at the bottom only later to have them appear in the regular listings then again have them dropped and appear in the green boxes.
Strange way to list things.
