'34 Streetbeast Coupe Bucket Seats

I'm not sure how I feel about how these buckets can out. They are Fiero seats frames. When you take the cover off you take all the foam with it except what is blown (not shaped) on the pan. I had to remove the lumbar support bags and the headrest speakers and covered center in 1" foam and 3/8" and the rest with 3/8" sew foam.
After patterning and adjusting and sewing 3 covers top and bottom in vinyl, I finally made the leather covers. And the lady's booster pillow so she can see over the dash. I can't get the wrinkles out. I've tried the heat gun and and hot sand bags. They are currently in my hot, sunny showroom window. Any ideas?

I'm not sure you will be able to make them smooth. You could try to add more foam? But I don't think that will work. Hopefully someone else will have a solution.
You could tell them its the plush look....it looks more inviting and relaxing like on a recliner chair?
What vinyl did you use?
I like how you covered the plastic side peice

@kl4bidn ,

That to me is a natural leather look. I would be really happy with them and send them out the door.

I wouldn’t be upset with those. If you’re not happy though it’s hard to let them leave. I know the feeling. It looks like maybe they need to be pulled down more. At the upper line where I’m assuming you hogringed or stuck down, it appears to be getting pulled upward. Same on the side. If you take your hands and pull down do the wrinkles go away? If you, maybe tighten something up at the bottom of the back portion to pull down more. Again I don’t think a customer will notice this like you do.

@kl4bidn Did you make your own patterns or did you use the old cover as patterns?
Did the vinyl covers you made come out well?

I made own patterns. My vinyls fit real nice but I didn't back the center with 3/8 foam or the pieces with headliner. I think my pulldowns sleeves are too short, going make some bigger ones next week

Let us know how that works out. If your vinyl covers fit nice then the leather ones should as well...
