Good afternoon. Is it acceptable to use hog rings to attach flexolator springs to frames? I have a truck bench seat that I want to replace zig zag springs with a flexolator and foam. Or, any other suggestions as to how I may attach it at the front of the seat. Second photo should be the front.

are you using burlap on it looks like it might had cotton on it at one time.

I typically use painters drop cloth from harbour freight. It is a heavy cloth and very reasonable in pice. This particular seat had a layer of 1/2 felt around the edges. And a layer of Dacron between springs and bottom of foam.
