hi friends,

yesterday i became a bronco front seat. the fabric is in excellent condition. but the driver is a heavyweigt. the seat foam is to soft.
i look for ideas to make the seat foam harder. have you ideas?

I dont know of anything that makes foam harder. replacing the foam with firm or extra firm foam might be an option . I dont know what the underneath looks like . might add a firmer foam to the bottom to add support,

Hi.
First I disassembled the seat.
In stage one I cut out the foam and replaced it with firmer foam.












As a second step, I want to strengthen the suspension.
I want to stretch elastic webbing over the suspension.

Sounds like you found a way. Upholstery some times dont have rules, just got to think out a plan see if it works. Good Luck and let me know how it works.
