Hey @Nigel Heffernan! Good to hear from you again!
Usually the windows are sewn in place and the glue is just to seal the seam. Ive never seen a window just glued in place on a canvas top. I would probably use HH-66 vinyl cement for gluing and sealing the seam. https://www.albrightssupply.com/HH-66-V ... Click=3957

@Nigel Heffernan , was that a kit or did you fabricate the top? @John , I have a 89 Merecedes sitting in the wings to install the soft top the potential customer has already purchased. Based on the recent Mercedes discussions what do you think of the idea of taking this on? Basically it would be billed time for lobor and consumables on this one.

You should be fine @BigRig Convertible tops are usually pretty straight forward and you can make good money on those jobs.

E-Z-ON are good tops. Go on there site an download their catalog. It should have labor times. I wouldn't touch that job for $200!
$800 minimum. What year is the car?

Easy on catalog says that is a 7 hour job. Usually I account for another hour or 2 on top of that. Minimum its a full days job.
