Best marking tool for dark leather on rough side?

I think John mentioned marking tools in one of his videos but I can't find it now. I have some automotive black leather and need to mark sharp lines for laying out tuck & roll on the back (rough side) of the leather. The white pencils work but the point needs to constantly be sharpened. Is there some kind of pen with white ink?

I have been using what is referred to as a mercury pen. You can get the pen from Tandy leather and the refills are sold by the hundred from china.

The ink is silver in color and wipes off with water.

Also look for Fisher Space pens. Its a silver pen that cleans up easily. That's what I mostly use for either side of my material.
