I wish to make a tonneau cover for my ute (pickup), and wondering if I can use the same vinyl as I will for the interior upholstery, as long as it’s marine grade and UV stabilised?
Or is there a better option?
I’d like to have the same colour if possible.

Short answer... Yes you can. Any marine grade vinyl will do the job. I would suggest going with the highest OZ per yard rating you can find it the color you need.
Another more expensive option but far more durable is to use convertible to material. One other option is to glue the vinyl to a layer of canvas.
