Foam seat

Good morning. I am planning to replace these springs for a 29 Chevy coupe with a solid piece of foam on a plywood base. What density foam do you recommend? Should I have layers of differing densities? The total height will be about 7 inches.

Its really all up to you and how soft or firm you want it. A lot of people go with 70lb 3371 on the cushion and 2555 55lb. In general you want the cushion do be a higher density because it will have most of the weight on it.

Thanks! Everything is going well. We love it out here in the south. Hopefully the shop build will start moving forward soon.
