Thank you guys but now I’m having a issue with the stitching and the needle hitting the rotary hook. This machine is very frustrating lol

You might take a look at this video. Hope it will possibly help.

Did the part fall out in shipping? Unless you know how to completely re-time a machine taking it apart is a huge time sink. I had to replace a take up lever on a Singer 20U and getting it to sew correctly after that was a big job. I learned a lot getting it to work and didn't track my hours because I didn't want to know that I likely put more labor into the machine than it was worth. But to do it once was valuable.

Dont follow that video for hook timing!!! This is not the correct procedure, although there are machines that are timed that way, he is not reading the manual correctly. There is a v-groove in the shaft where he is working andthe set screw must lay in it, when you make a small adjustment and tighten the screw, it will fall back into that groove right back where it was negating the adjustment you thought you made. The manual (that he is referencing in the video) says to loosen the 3 set screws on fig.5 screws "k" to adjust timing pictured here
The screws he is messing with are for adjusting tbe hook/needle gap, not timing. Always check that the saftey clutch is engaged before adjusting timing

Thank you guys again ! I gave up and took it to a machine shop and decided to let them mess with it. I was spending so much time to get it working that it was starting to interfere with my other projects in place. Hopefully I’ll get it back soon and it’ll be working like it used to. Thank you guys once again !!
