I need help buying the best vacuum cleaner to cope with all traditional upholstery materials on the floor - I have worn out/broken 5 cleaners in the last 8 years and wondered whether there is an industrial vacuum out there that can cope .... ?

PLEASE advise as to what make/model you use and how long they have lasted, as I need to buy a new hoover and I am prepared to spend money on it to get the right one for the job so that it lasts more than a year.

thank you :-)

I have to agree with Big Rig I have several Craftsman shop vacs that have been around for a while .One I use in the machine shop around drill press , vertical mill and lathe and other machinery I have to remember to empty before it gets to full so I can lift

@hapyrdr ,

Yes he needs the shop vac sounds like a few chunks of foam are getting caught up in there.

Can you go to my vinyl thread and tell me what you think of modern day coated fabrics vs vinyl of yesteryear.
