Hello everyone,
I am working on a very old wingback and all the cardboard panels have rotted away. I cannot seem to find cardboard sheets that are thin enough to bend around the arms but firm enough to offer padding support. I am in NC and any help would be greatly appreciated.

This stuff wouldn't be the same as what the chair had originally, but I have used it for similar things.

"Bag stiffener" may work, it comes in fiberboard or plastic, sold by leather suppliers. Tandy Leather or Springfield leather, etc.

Thanks for your help I am looking into both the Ram Board and bad stiffener. I did find a place in Florida that sells to upholstery shops if anyone else needs it.
