I have been picking up a few more marine boat cover jobs. I'm looking for everyone's opinion on the Tenera clear lifetime thread. Is it worth the extra cost?

@Ddedman , it depends on wheter you want that project coming back to you sooner than later. Stronger UV resistant thread means that seam will hold together longer.

It is worth it, I used it on my boat cover. What material do you plan on using?? If you use a 10 year material for the cover I wouldn't bother with tenara, if using Sunbrella then use the tenara.

I have been using Sunbrella mostly.

I think its worth the extra cost if the boat will be stored outside year round.
