I am wondering what the best fabric will be for seating in an open air, 1952 Deuce & a Half Military Truck? (more specifically, its a M207-CDN)

My local fabric store has this... "P-600 - Vinyl-Backed Polyester Fabric - 60" - Plastex"

It is a 40oz Vinyl. If it is an outdoor application maybe your fabric store has winter vinyl.

Not technically outdoor but there is potential for the upholstery to get wet (if the top is off and it starts raining).

Just look for outdoor vinyl If it gets wet come it will dry the original material is most likely this type anyways.

I would use 40 oz heavy duty vinyl or sunbrella marine canvas. Both are tough and water resistant.
