Finding talent

Hi everyone,

New guy here on the Forum; stumbled upon it while trying to figure out one of our challenges: Where to find some auto upholstery talent? I'm here in the DC area; we're a small shop that does custom work. We've been outsourcing our upholstery labor, and the work is fantastic. We're using 2-3 shops at this point, and each has backlogs from 3-10 months. They're worth it.

If we wanted to look at hiring some talent in-house, I wonder where the forum members might recommend we look or post?

Thanks much,
CWC

Find a local upholstery supplier and ask around, maybe they'll let you put up a flyer.

I second Adams advice. Problem is its really hard to find trimmers these days. Most of the schools have shut down and a lot of guys are retiring.

Your welcome to post Job opportunities directly here on the forum.
