I am wanting to recover two dining chairs as one is damaged. A photo of the undamaged one is attached.

I have identified that the covering is bicast faux leather, and have found a supplier of similar.

Before I go ahead and start the project, does anyone know if the covering will be glued to the cushion pad underneath please?

I would have to source new cushion pads if so.

The fast way to find out is remove the covering and see if they were previously glued.

I highly doubt they the covers are glued on those chairs. You should be able to easily pull all the staples and recover with new fabric.
