Hello Everyone,
New user here, first post, glad I found this forum.
I’m working on a couple old projects, 1960 Cadillac full interior, and 1956 mid century couch and chair.
As far as the car, the seat frames need to be reconditioned. Right now the old upholstery is still intact. It’s been left that way until work starts, mostly to keep its shape for patterns. When the upholstery is removed, what is the best way to store it while the frame work is being done? It’s the original cloth and vinyl, so 60+ years old. It has shrunk and pulled some distortion in the covers. I’d rather it didn’t move more. Thanks!

Hi @19stitches Welcome to the forum! Happy to have you here!

If you just store them like you would any fabric you should be fine. I would store them inside away from sunlight and high humidity.
