Covering parts of a bicycle seat/saddle

I have a brand new bicycle saddle with medium padding that is covered by what the company calls microfiber. It looks like a smooth black leather and not what I normally associate with microfiber.

Two spots on the saddle have the company's logo embossed and I want to cover those spots up. One spot is directly on top where I would sit and the other spot is on the side where my leg would rub.

I was thinking about gluing some black fabric/material over the logos/spots. If so, what would be a good fabric choice and what would be a good glue? I am usually in the saddle for up to three hours at a time. I am new to upholstery work.

You could try using HH-66 vinyl cement but I don't think any glue will hold up to abuse a bike saddle gets. Your best bet would be to recover the entire saddle.

Can you suggest a material and a source for it?

If your doing a full recover any material you like will work. If your going to try the glue just make sure you use a vinyl fabric.

Hmmm. I have not found any bicycle seat issues that can't be cured by covering the original seat with Brooks B-17 or better.
