Carpet Question

I need to get carpet for my 57 Chevy station wagon. I am considering purchasing an ACC kit from Rock Auto. My concern is that I want to carpet the rear inner fender wells with matching carpet. How do I go about getting more carpet that matches the kit for this?

if I remember correctly ACC does sell additional material by the yard.

ACC wouldn't sell me additional material by the yard because they are worried about keeping carpet in stock to make their molded kits. Depending on the carpet type you are going to use you can normally find a match from one of the upholstery suppliers. I just put a molded ACC carpet in my 1969 Chevy truck and it was the loop style material. I was able to buy the exact same material from Keyston Bros to finish out the back wall and make some matching floor mats.

Just the other week, I just ordered an ACC carpet for a 51 Chevy with a yard of matching carpet from stockinteriors.com

Yeah usually they will sell you extra yardage if you ask.
@Mikesimpson I bet that may have been because that carpet isn't manufactured any more and wanted to keep the stock they had for their carpet kits.
