Hey all,
I'm doing my first interior working with leather, which is going OK so far. I'd just like some advice if anyone has any experience with leather wrapping. We ordered digital gauges for this build and I'd like to leather wrap the face plates. Is this a realistic expectation? Overly ambitious for a first attempt? Would I need to skive the leather, and if so how would I do that without a machine? I'll attach a picture of the gauge plates.
Any advice would be appreciated!

Its probably possible but will be difficult to get the edges looking nice.

This video might give you some clues to helps.


Also chechaflo on you tube as some decent videos on molding leather to complex shapes.
