Hello guys! There is a lot of different info on how to recover differetn steering wheels.

I'm looking for something else. I know heater retrofit possible. Any sources for heating element and info on how those get wired/installed?

Basically, if someone asked to install heater, where would you go for parts and how different install going to be?

Carbon "tape" is probably the best since it will lay flat and not show through the material

Im sure you could find some sort of heating element to use. Maybe like what they use in heated grips for motorcycles....
The big problem would be wiring it.

It would need a clock spring arrangement very much like they use for the steering wheel airbags to be wired. With the amps a heating element would draw I think it would need to be fairly heavy
