The Upholstery Forum

I currently co-own a bicycle bag making business with my wife. Before that I have 20 years experience in the collision repair industry. My grandfather did upholstery but unfortunately he passed away years before I had much interest in upholstery work. Now, I'd really love to transition into doing upholstery for our business. I have some experience recovering chairs and stools, and lots of experience working on vehicles of all types. We have a shop full of upholstery tools, many of which are my grandfather's, and industrial sewing machines. We sew with industrial walking foot machines on a daily basis. I just finished watching the "seats" videos and learned quite a bit. Looking forward to learning as much as I can here and helping where I can.
