I saw this on ChrisFix on YouTube. He uses it for cleaning his interior, but I wondering if it would work for stretching vinylto fit better, or reviving foam, like in The Lucky Needle videos. Any thoughts? Does it seem workable for a hobbiest???

It might! I have never tried that kind of steamer. I love ChrisFix YouTube as well!

@Cervantes , just be cautious you do not get to spot specific with it or it may ruin your material it will get very HOT in a condensed area.

I got the steamer and will play with it a bit, then report back. First impressions (having never used another steamer, so not having much of a point of reference to compare it to)...

It came with a handful of attachments that I guess will narrow down or broaden the "stream". I tested it, but without the attachments and was surprised how much force it blew out the steam with. The steam blows out a few feet with some force! I think @BigRig's advice applied there! I think I will need to hold it back a bit, and not focus on one area for long so it doesn't melt stuff!

Our water is very hard, so I want to get some distilled water before trying it "for real" but I think it will be good!
