Greetings from a new member! Would anyone on this forum be able to lead me in the right direction. Been looking for a older juki for some time now and finally came a cross someone locally selling a juki LU 563 as well as a juki DNU-241H. Both in excellent condition. Does anyone have any insight on the two. I’m aware of some of the difference between the two machine but there seems to be much more information on the 563 (set up, adjusting,etc.... thanks to YouTube). I know the 241 is slightly newer and has some convenience features but that’s not a deal maker. Any information to lead me in one direction or the other is much appreciated.

I will be doing light auto, home, marine upholstery and this will not be my primary machine.

Keep up the good work John!

Thanks in advance

Both are fine machines, my suggestion is to test drive each and see which one feels right to you. I may lean towards the 563 just because it is so well documented on the web. But either would serve you well.

Welcome to the forum @Kuph Happy to have you here!!!

I think you would be happy with either one! I have used the Juki 562 for years and love it (the 563 is the same machine as the but with a bigger bobbin). Personally I would go with the 241 because it has the stitch length adjustment knob.

Thanks everyone for the responses. I ended up going with the 241HS as it was in almost brand new condition. So far I am extremely pleased with the machine. runs smooth and seems to be built very well.
