I know that there are several ways to move leather through the feed dogs without it binding or bunching up, so, my question is which method is the best?
-Paper under the leather?
-Plastic under the leather?
-Oil or wax on the sewing bed?
-Or something totally different?

I've used paper. Worked great, paper tears right away. The other day another upholster suggested blue painters tape on each side after stapling. I haven't tried that yet.

Yeah, I asked Santa to bring me a set of those for Christmas.
I hope they work.

That's not usually a problem for me but when it does happen paper works great!
