I am very much a beginner and am having a crack at covering a set of Recaro seats.
I have a Seiko walking foot machine. Which foot do I need to buy to sew on the plastic retainers on these seats. The normal foot won't do it.

A zipper foot will work great in that situation.

On this topic, can you buy these clips anywhere?
I have some on the seat I’m currently working on which have been over tensioned and bent out of shape.

Zipper foot or if you have a spare regular foot, hack off one side, sand to a fine finish.

You can buy those at most upholstery supply stores. They are called J clips.

I have managed to do this, by simply removing the outer feet, so just using the centre one and hand feeding the machine. Works a treat.
