I've been doing canvas work for a couple of years now and I am getting requests for boat cushions and seats now.
The 1st set I have has piping on edges and in the middle. Not the one I wanted to start with but hopefully it isnt a disaster.
Anyway when it comes to upholstery work what are your go to presser feet?
Thanks

For boats I suggest smooth bottom flat feet and welt feet sizes 3/16 and 1/4. Its good to have both to adjust for welt size and material thickness. I also have zipper feet but dont use them often. I normally sew zippers with flat feet

Hey
@John any suggestions where to buy, what brand is best? Amazon has a ton and I don't want to buy junk.
Thanks again

@miket ,
I think for genuine parts go to
www.singeronline.com
I have the 3/16 and 1/4 " zipper foot and got them from a supplier that probably has them in stock. @John I am very tempted to get a top stitch foot . What do you think of those?

@miket ,
I say buy the genuine parts if you plan on sewing much otherwise the softer steel is ok.

I prefer this style welt feet.

Usually if you purchase from a reputable dealer the feet are good. I am cautions about purchasing them on amazon and ebay.
