Hello everyone,
I just wanted to know if it is possible to fix this issue from home (because of isolation)
The pedal of the Sewing machine is not working properly; whenever I plug it into the machine, the machine starts moving really fast.
I think the current is passing through without touching a resistor, but everything seems to be connected from what I see.
The sewing machine is from a friend that lives with me, and I just want to know how possible it is to fix it from home.

Hope everyone is safe in their place and in advance let me apologize if I made any grammar mistakes, English is not my first mother-tongue and dealing with the barrier of language is quite a struggle for me.

I have an old Bernina that just failed in the same way. I was in the room at the time and it all of a sudden just turned on at full speed. I quickly unplugged it. I found a foot pedal replacement on Amazon and it works fine now.
