1953 Skylark Front Seat Bottom Material?

This pic shows the rear of the front bench seat in my '53 Skylark. It is covered in a textured material that looks like carpet, but has no backing and is much thinner; about the thickness of burlap. This material is in the area where the bucket-style seat backs meet up with and mounts to the bench seat bottom, but it is visible from the back seat as it wraps around the bottom rear of the seat frame. It covers the entire length of the rear seat frame from side to side. Does anyone know specifically what this material is called, and where I can get something similar? I have checked my local upholstery and fabric stores with no luck. Thanks in advance!

I have never see fabric like that for sale but you should be able to find a tweed that looks similar and will work just fine.

Awesome! Thanks, John! Their tweed cloth in red claret looks good.
