Thread selection for motorcycle seat

I've heard nylon holds up better to abrasion and polyester holds up better to sun fading and weather. For a motorcycle seat that will spend most of it's time indoors except for 15-20 days a year when it is outside for a few hours at a time which would you recommend for top stitching?

I dont do a ton of motorcycle seats but I would still use a Quality Bonded Polyester. Coats or Amman.

I do my share of motorcycle, quad and snowmobile seats. V-92 Sunguard bonded polyester for me.

I actually have had terrible luck with sunguard. Frays easy and the color seems to flake off. I like Aramid myself.

Sewing with the Sunguard wire today. No choice all they got its as stiff as wire and was a little twisty on me. Still think that Amann is the most rouble free I have tried .

I attached a PDF of a thread purchase spreadsheet, when I factored in shipping /tax the numbers were interesting. May19, 2020

There was a question about cost, I included shipping and the purchase price of common thread depending upon quantity then showed the cost per ounce shipped. The formatting of the PDF is two pages rather than one, a mistake.

Here is a reformatted PDF, hopefully it's clear. Please delete my earlier post which split the spreadsheet up.
