I think I set my account up online but now I wonder if it’s a business account?

@Cody you should check. you might get a better pricing. Although their prices are already the same as most wholesalers. That's a big reason why I like them

@John I like the fact it’s online. Working a full time job I don’t always like to spend my only break for the day (lunch) on the phone calling place to place to order things. I can get home at night and get online and order. Shipping is the cheapest I’ve seen also. I got charged one time more for shipping than the actual material I bought at another supplier. Like $25 for material $32 for shipping. Convenience has me won over by far.

Spoke to them today they don’t have wholesale prices. Not sure how that is supposed to work if the customer can get the same price as you so with your markup the customer will be paying more?

@Jayscanvas i don’t tell the customer where I get my supplies ever. I also don’t warranty any work they bring the material in for. This usually makes them think hard about bring materials to me. But from my experience most customers don’t look for material prices usually. But there are those ones that do and they are usually such a pain from the start and haggle so bad about pricing you don’t want their work anyways.

Most of the suppliers I deal with do not sell to the public and the ones that do like Miami and sailrite give much lower wholesale prices

Yup I'm on the same page as @Cody once a customer starts talking about buying their own material. Huge red flag! Those are the customers that are never happy. I explain to them what the material mark up covers and if they don't agree that's fine with me.

Albright supply. Well I need some basix 555 tweed, they only show one color and it's out of stock, yet I see the color on ebay, and it's being sold by Albright supply. What's up with that? I would spend 150 on their site, but buying from them on two different venues is a bit irritating.

@Scott D somstimes I see that also and just email or call and mention you see it’s available. They’ll usually order it for you even though it says out of stock.

Hey guys!
I know this is kind of an old thread, but I just wanted to address some issues.
We do not have wholesale and retail pricing as many of you know. We know this upsets some of our customers, but we're really focused on delivering the best price and best service for everyone. I do want to point out that we do offer quantity discounts on most of our products. These discounts tend to benefit shops over other customers as shops need more materials.
We also offer sales or discounts almost every month, so be on the lookout on our social media pages and website. You can also sign up for our mailing list
here (usually only 1 email a month, sometimes 2 or 3 per month in special cases).
I also saw someone mention our eBay page. All stock on the eBay page is only synced once a day, so it may be off a little bit. Our stock on our regular website is synced every hour so is more accurate. This may account for the discrepancies. While we do sell normal stock on our eBay page, we frequently use it to help get rid of closeouts and other discontinued items.
We try to be as open and honest as possible here at Albright's. If you guys ever have any questions or concerns, please let us know!
