Its the best for gluing vinyl and leather to pretty much anything.

Gluing canvas and vinyl doesn't usually work to well. What is it that you are trying to do?

i'm making a motocycle seat out of vinyl and thought a piece of canvas would look cool added to it , a contrast to the colors of the bike and the seat. i would also sew it on around the edges.

Oh yeah that would work fine. If your going to sew it, you probably don't even need to glue it.

To many years putting thing together but the VERY best way to join material together without stiches is Weldwood hhr adhesive without a doubt as far as adhesives related to automotive upholstery there is none any better. The biggest problem with this product is avalilitby not sold in most places except upholstery suppliers. Amazon has it listed but they rape you on shipping charges.

@hobo Sounds like you really know your stuff. How long have you been a trimmer?

Another vote for Weldwood hhr adhesive. Ive been using it for years wrapping automovtive panels. It has never let me down. I have a uplostry supply company to deliver the 5 gallon pale . I think last time i paid was around $110.00.

Not a real long time I guess i started tearing cars apart and putting them back in the mid 60s had a body shop for several years and my folks owned an upholstery shop so I did several complete restos later parents retired and I continued for a few years. Now i am retired but I still do a few jobs a year you know you just can't stop you need to do something.

@hobo Haha well sounds like you've been at it on and off for quite some time. I can imagine. It would be hard to stop and do nothing...
