Welcome to the forum. I’m wondering what you are going to use the fabric for, shade fabrics are different from cover fabrics or is it outdoor bags (high abrasion) fabrics you are wondering about.

Im looking for others' perspective/consult to answer a potential customer question. The fabric will be on a number of furniture pieces and cushions in a screen porch, it will get some sun but water is her main concern. I believe there could be algal growth in some areas of the porch. This one is hell bent on putting cushion cases in the washer! Of course I say' none of that'. Phifertex, and vinyl is out of the question. Thank you all.

My go to outdoor fabric is Sunbrella because Ive been using it for years and its what I trust. Sunbrella is water proof so its OK to get wet. Also very cleanable. You will have to treat it with 303 fabric guard on occasion https://amzn.to/2MS4upe
There are lots of other outdoor fabric available as well. If the cushions are going to get soaked in water you may want to consider using dry fast out door foam. https://amzn.to/2NzBBPY

@torriec do you have any recommendations on this?

@John
I completely missed the notification on this! I'm super late to the party, but in case anyone else was wondering, we carry Recacril. It's quite comparable to Sunbrella and not difficult to clean. Although I don't think you can throw it in the washer.

We also have a little bit lighter weight version that's made strictly for furniture called Recacril DecorLine.

Material is one thing, don't forget about the THREAD. Tanera would be the thread of choice, it will take bleach just like sunbrella.
