Hi all,

I have a 90 suburban. The seat has seen better days and I want to replace the foam.

This is my first project and was wondering what thickness and firmness of foam I needed.

Thank you.

Hi @GeorgeGenovezos welcome to the forum!! Happy to have you!

Do you want to repair the foam of fully replace? Usually its easier to repair the foam if only part of the foam is bad.
You also might be able to find seat foam you that year suburban as well. That would save you a lot of time and money.

I am pulling the cover of a 99 Chevy Blazer tomorrow for foam repair and will post a picture for you @GeorgeGenovezos. You may want to start looking for the seat foam like John mentioned unless you have easy access to high density block foam as they may work out to be equal in price.
