The other day i was driving through my neighborhood and saw this desk chair. I was between projects so I said "why not". So, I stopped and got the charir and took it to the garage. I had some scrap material left over from other jobs and just wanted to find something to do with it and to get some much needed practice. I did not get full pics of the before but i did take pics of the parts so I would have a reference when putting it back together. Anyone looking for some practice, hit the neighborhoods on trash day. lol! Anyway, here is some before and afters for your enjoyment.

@vicstric ,

Can you take a close up of the diamonds. It would be good to get an evaluation on the stitching your machine is laying down.

It looks to me like your laying perfect stitches. How many stitches per inch do you measure?

@bigrig, it looks like about 6 stitches per inch. On those diamonds I layed out my lines at 1.5 inches and used 1/2 inch sew foam. The small angle on the diamonds is 60 deg.

@victric,

I like the cut and the black thread into the red vinyl. My machine is dropping 05 stitches per inch so looking comparable.

Nice find! The original owner would have never guessed how nice his/her chair would end! :heart_eyes:
