So this is the final product got to say they turned out better than I had planned the chrome stick on strip hides the staples on the seam . What I learnt is any small imperfection in the foam shows through on the vinyl.
I am getting better at wrappng the corners also

Beuautiful Car! I think you are very fortunate to have that in your possession. BTW get that sewing machine up and running! You can sew a straight line hand cranking the wheel even.
