@Kra z Bill yeah, I have been contemplating that. The only thing that might push me to the fabricator is the knee operated presser foot that doen't come with the table.

I have been looking for a way to put a knee lift or a pedal lift on mine and I just don't think it is possible :disappointed: So I may have to buy the Fabricator at a latter date

Looks good! It’s always a learning curve and each one you donis always helping you learn even if it’s not the result you’re after.

Being a civic guy in my younger years I’d have to guess you’ve put some love into that body or you somehow stuck gold and got one that was never driven and rusted out. Lol. Any motor mods? B18,b20, mini me swaps?

@Cody I have put a lot of love into the car. When I got it the 1.5 was blown, someone had put an automatic in the and the body was beaten and worn. But, NO rust.
I put a 1.6 vtech in to get it going, replaced the full suspension with additional chassis stiffeners , wheels and tires and then the paint. I gave the car to my daughter for her first car. I figured if she wrecked it then I wasn't out much. I recently got it back from her when I bought her a new car.
For now, I going to finish the interior. I have a K swap and an H22 swap I can put in the car but I am not sure what I want to do. If I can find a good B16 or B18 that is what I really want.
Oh, I do have a 5speed that is going back in the car even if I don't change the engine.

@Cale its coming along nicely keep it up. Just curious what’s the intentions with the car when the interior is finished? Daily driver, weekend cruiser, or show vehicle?

@Cody Right now it is my daily driver but ultimately it will probably be a show room piece for my shop.

@Cale, seriously man your doing a great job! These are your first seats? I like the black vinyl for this what was your choice? I had a 91 SI hatch and now both my boy and I are kicking ourselves for letting it go.

@cale can’t go wrong with a nice hatch for a show piece. One of my favorite cars still.

@BigRig I hear you there about regretting selling it. I can’t count on both hands how many civics I’ve gone through. Some dailies in stock form, some built to race, some show. But I moved to minneapolis and the thieves noticed my cars too. After the second one got stolen I switch brands to Audi’s. Still wish I had my last civic hatch build. Can’t justify getting one just for nostalgia purposes to the wife lol.

It sucks they stole it but the silver lining is when they don’t realize the actual quality of what they stole!

@Cody ,

You being a bodyman wouldn't surprise me if somebody was brazen enough to bring your own car parts to you for a re-do :angry:
