I have a customer that has a hole in the driver’s side carpet of their car. They want us to install a heel pad over it. The rest of the carpet is in great shape. My question is what would be the best adhesive to use for this application? Or would it be contact cement instead of adhesive? Any help is greatly appreciated! Thanks!

All the heel pads Ive done and seen that weren't done at the factory were sewn in to place. But I'm guessing your are trying to avoid removing the carpet. I don't know of any glue that would work well enough for that. You could make a nice floor mat that covers the hole....
