Hi everyone!

We’re just starting an automotive upholstery repair business and have already learned so much from John’s courses. The one thing I’m getting hung up on however, is finding fabric for older model vehicles. Solid color vinyl seems to be pretty easily found but the cloth and patterned vinyl are both proving to be a challenge. Does anyone have any tips on where I might be able to source this kind of heavy duty fabric? We checked Albright’s Transporter line and found their selection to be somewhat limited.

I would phone Albright with this ? or search the forum as there was a link posted to match materials by inserting the vin# make etc..

SMS auto fabric. They buy out companies and absorb their old stock. But do a google search of the company for reviews. I have yet to order. Bit hesitant. Some have no issue. Some have no fabric 2 years after the order was placed.

SMS fabric is the biggest OEM supplier I know of but have heard they are not pleasant to deal with.
