I have a juki 1508 with the adler needle/presser bar fittings. I only have the standard feet at the moment. I am in the market for a set of 3mm or 1/8"welting feet, but the options for that size are quite expensive, more than 4 times the price of a 3/8"set. I am just making sure that I have to purchase the 1/8" set.
My question is, Would a 3/8" set be close enough for 3mm/1/8" welting. I want to make a good job, so I would only consider using it if it made a good job.
any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

i do apologize John, I meant to say 3/16" not 3/8". So do you think 3/16" would be okay for the 1/8" ?.

@Plh Yes 3/16 will work fine but I recommend getting 1/4 as well because depending how thick the material your sewing is 1/4 can be much easier.

Hi guys, the cheapest 3mm or 1/8" piping foot for an Adler in UK is more than £50, which is $60-70. I can get a 3/8" one cheap at around £15-20. I did purchase one and I have found it works fine on 3 mm piping. Thanks for all your comments, very much appreciated.
